Court is an authoritative body that operates under the laws of the land and works with a basic aim of providing social, morale, legal or ethical justice to the public

Courts are the means of resolving the disputes for the people and all have the right to bring their legal claims in front of the court to attain justice. Likewise, the person against which the case is being filed in the court, or who is accused of a crime, also possesses the right to present his/her defense before a court. Courts work as impartial body for both the parties and helps in settling the claims as quickly as possible.

Court operates with the sole responsibility of delivering justice to the people in a timely manner. As correct decision making is an important aspect of a court justice, the timeliness also plays a very crucial role in deciding whether a qualitative justice is delivered or not. A lot of time is consumed in processing the cases (both civil and criminal) in the court from filing an appeal to final hearing and execution of court orders. So it is important to set specific measures regarding time standards to enhance the movement of cases in the litigation process.

So it is important that proper education regarding the justice service must be given to all groups of the society whether rich or poor, without any discrimination. Educating the public the legal procedures to access the justice services is critical and should be carried out with proper planning.

Operations Perspective can be judged through % increase in scheduled hearings, court staff efficiency level, etc. Public Trust and Reach Perspective consists of KPIs like public satisfaction level, court justice access level, % reduction in civil complaints against law enforcement, etc.

KPIs framework in this area helps in measuring the effectiveness of the legal justice system and how far it is successful in providing quality justice to the public. It ensures they can work diligently towards their main goal of public satisfaction and legal compliance in the society.
