Name
Balanced Scorecard support software
Naming
program is a difficult choice, you have to consider a lot of factors and
decide what to choose. When thinking about Strategy2Act name we wanted
it to associate with simplicity and it's main idea - creating a
relation between strategy and real action.
Strategy2Act
Strategy2Act
is a name of our product that is supposed to make the process of
building Balanced Scorecards (BSC) easier.
The Balanced Scorecard methodology is for connecting strategy to real action - that's
why we named our software as Strategy2Act.
Strategy2Act is a software tool that converts Strategy to Action.
Your company have a strategy then the next important step is to connect
this strategy to action. Balanced Scorecard conception is right for
these needs and our Strategy2Act software will help you.
Balanced Scorecard Concept Manager
Another idea was to name Strategy2Act something like Balanced Scorecard Concept
Manager or using another combination with "Balanced Scorecard"
or "BSC".
We didn't use those words in a title of our product, as we think that
it's main features are very useful for those who don't know anything
about Balanced Scorecard conception, but want to effectively set a
relation between strategy and real goals, actions.
Easy BSC
Our program is really easy, and using "easy" or
"simple" word in the title of our program was quite
reasonable. Also, if in some cases people have some problems with BSC
ideology then using Strategy2Act is easy as doesn't require any
training.
Scorecard to go
This name sounds vigorously, but we thought that Scorecard conception
is not so powerful as Balanced Scorecard and we decided not to mix up
those names.
Strategy Manager
Strategy Manager is a good name for program like ours, as we also
suggest to build a strategy tree and evaluate some solution in this
workspace. The only reason we haven't use this name was that it's really
not sounds easy "to manage strategy". Users of our program
would think that it's a complicated process.
